Can I get IIT Delhi with 200 marks?
Asked about IIT Delhi – Indian Institute of Technology – B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering I am currently studying in 12th and planning to take a drop for preparation.0 6.2k Views | Posted 5 years ago
Hello Abhiyank, For admission into CSE branch at IIT, Delhi you need to score very well in JEE Advanced. However, marks more than 300 marks i.e less than 200 rank in JEE Advanced is considered safe for admission. M Answered by Madhav Ranka Current Student- IIT, Delhi 5 years ago Well, as you might be aware that there is no fixed pattern of the JEE paper.
It varies every year, so no such fixed marks bracket can be set. You could refer to the closing ranks of past few years ( that is around 100-110 for CS 4 year and 150-160 for the dual degree CS program. The toughness and average score of the examination vary every year hence cannot be given certain boundaries on the basis of previous years’ marks.
I hope this might help you. If further queries arise, feel free to ping. If you are a general candidate, then you should be under 200. For this, you should get at least 290-300 marks out of 372 in JEE Advance. All India rank around 100-120. You cannot predict the exact marks because for 1 paper if 200 marks yield you under 1000 rank then maybe for another paper, the same marks would give you 10000 rank as it happened in the papers of 2016 and 2017.
Can I get nit with 94 percentile?
Yes, of course you can get admission in NIT College with this score. But, then also I’ll prefer you to choose the best college available like IIITs and GFTIS.
Which nit will i get with 100 marks?
Sorry, but you won’t be able to get into any NIT with these marks. I would suggest you to go for LMNIIT Jaipur, SGSITS Indore, RGPV Bhopal, MITS Gwalior etc. Also, you can go for private colleges instead which also performs well and upto the level of NIT’s, Recommendations be CU, LPU, Amity, Manipal University, VIT etc. Best of luck.
Which is the easiest subject in JEE?
Key takeaways from the analysis of paper I –
Among the three subjects, Chemistry is the easiest subject to score high marks. Mathematics was the most difficult, while Physics was sandwiched between the two. Being the easiest subject, no candidate should neglect Chemistry as it will otherwise severely limit the chances of scoring a good rank in JEE Main exam. As Chemistry is considered one of the easiest or most scoring subjects, students cannot ignore the importance of this subject. The other two subjects also have a meaningful contribution to the total score for the candidate to get a good rank. When making a study schedule for the JEE, the candidate needs to consider the scoring potential for each paper. For example, a candidate who is good in Mathematics should also try to accommodate Chemistry and Physics as well. This way the scoring opportunities of the candidate will go up. Conversely, a candidate who is at home with Chemistry may need to put in a little bit more effort to get a score even higher.
