Thiruvananthapuram: In yet another record, 99.7 percent of candidates who appeared for the SSLC examination have become eligible for higher studies this year. The number of students who secured A+ for all subjects too has jumped to 68604, an increase of 24241 compared to last year.

General education minister V Sivankutty announced the results of the 2022-23 academic year at a news conference here on Friday. Last year, the pass percent was 99.26.He said the near 100 percent pass and the substantial increase in the number of candidates securing A+ for all subjects, did reflect the academic excellence and the hard work of the students.
