West Bengal Madhyamik Pariksha 2023 – The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) Kolkata has informed that a total of 6,98,628 students appeared for the WB Madhyamik Exams 2023, a sharp drop from 10,98,775 in the previous year. Ramanuj Ganguly, President of WBBSE, said that the decline in the number of students appearing for the exams is due to the Covid Pandemic in the past two years which has led to many students backing out of the exams as the classes were held online and their preparations for the exam were inadequate.
